Beautiful Artworks

An ode to nature as well as a wake-up call, depicted in beautiful artworks: that is the art exhibition Rebel Garden. Spread across three museum locations, you will come face to face with both older work by Roger Raveel and Emile Claus and contemporary masterpieces by Per Kristian Nygård, Christine Ödlund, Ben Sledsens and Guillaume Bijl. The relationship between the artist and the garden, the effects of global warming, climate activism ... these are the common threads throughout the exhibition.
During the summer holiday (6/07 > 31/08), you can join a
guided visit (Dutch) every weekend. There is a Harvest Festival on the last day of the exhibition (01/09) and whatever has been sown and grown during the exhibition will be collected and donated. Extra tip: Pop-up summer bar St John’s Hospital (30/06), a summer party full of free activities relating to care. Refreshing cocktails and mocktails and live music from museum artist Porcelain id complete the celebration of six months of the new museum being open.
