Bruges - Brusk - Temporary Exhibitions
New Cultural Showpiece for Bruges and Flanders

In the Bruges city centre, BRUSK, a museum building for temporary exhibitions that will become the new cultural showpiece for Bruges and Flanders, is gradually taking shape. Very soon, it will offer surprising exhibitions of ancient, modern and contemporary art, a grand café, a museum park, a research centre and a space where people can come together.
Besides bringing world-class art to Bruges, the building also represents a major step forward towards ensuring a greener future, as it combines energy efficiency, partially circular construction and materials that meet the strictest sustainability standards. The roofs of the exhibition halls are completely covered with photovoltaic glass ‘scales‘. As they are dark green, they also blend in nicely with the surrounding park.
BRUSK will open its doors on 21 September 2025 for a sneak preview and the first exhibition is set to begin on Friday 8 May 2026.
