The figures recorded by the MCS Industry of Standards recorded 190,000 of Solar installations in 2023. This was very close to the 203,000 installations of solar in 2011. This was high because of the feed-in tariff back in 2011 which was 43p per kwh, however, the record set last year 2023 comes in as renewable energy is finally getting recognised as an asset to buildings, also just to the growth of the battery storage systems which partner up with the solar to maximise energy savings. Something to celebrate and I don’t think it will be long until every roof has them in next decade."
