Gaenor Jones awarded 'Woman Leader of the Year

 Gaenor Jones, Middle East Regional Director for the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), received the prestigious "Woman Leader of the Year 2023 Award at the 10th Middle East Insurance Industry Awards.

The Award, sponsored by ACE Gallagher was given alongside nineteen others at the Conrad Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Middle East Insurance Industry Award (MIIA) was launched in 2014 and has earned a reputation for its stringent judging process among peers in the industry. Based in Dubai, Gaenor has spent more than five years in her position as Regional Director for the Middle East, also overseeing Central and South Asia.

Gaenor Jones, Middle East Regional Director for the CII, said: "I am honoured to have received the Woman Leader of the Year awa We have dedicated many years to the development of the insurance profession across the ME region, furthering the CII's mission to build public trust and raise industry standards. To receive this recognition on the 10th anniversary of the Awards is wonderful, and I would like to thank the judges for their recognition."

Gaenor spearheads a wealth of awareness-raising initiatives through participation in a range of events, roundtables and platforms across the region, in collaboration with major stakeholders.

She is a leader in every sense, and her progressive contribution to the Middle East's developing insurance sector cannot be underestimated. As the industry matures and regulations become more robust, she is the ideal candidate to champion the importance of internationally recognised qualifications for the sector's professionals now and well into the future."
